Our story

스튜디오 리포소는 텍스타일 아티스트 황희지 작가와 설치 예술가 김태우 작가, 두명의 작가가 일상 속 휴식이라는 콘셉트를 바탕으로 수공예 기반의 제품과 작품을 만드는 아티스트 그룹입니다. 스튜디오 리포소가 선보이는 다양한 작품 중에서도 대중의 사랑을 가장 많이 받고 있는 아크릴 사이드 테이블, 아크릴 화병과 같은 아크릴 제품들은 아크릴의 투명함과 섬유 공예의 염색기법이 더해진 새로운 공예 장르의 홈데코 오브제입니다. 햇빛에 반짝이는 아크릴 소품들은 우리의 일상 한 켠에 휴식과 시각적 즐거움을 선사합니다.

Studio Riposo is a Seoul based art studio, that create products and art-works. we are based on handicrafts and concept of rest in everyday life.

Studio Riposo is founded by Hee-ji Hwang at 2018. And 2020 installation artist Kim Tae-woo start to work with Studio Riposo. Among the various works presented by Studio Riposo, acrylic products such as ‘Acrylic side tables’ and ‘Acrylic vases’ are loved the most by the public. Those Acrylic home decor objects are a new genre for craft that added a dyeing technique of textile crafts to the transparency of acrylic. Acrylic objects that glisten in the sunlight bring relaxation and visual enjoyment to our daily life.
